Serious Injury to Eleven-Year-Old Girl from Falling Soccer Goal in Tirol

An eleven-year-old girl sustained injuries during a physical education class at a recreational facility in Kirchberg, Tirol, on Thursday. The incident, which occurred when a soccer goal fell over, was reported by the Tirol State Police Directorate on Saturday.

The girl, originally from Ukraine, was reportedly holding onto the crossbar of the goal, which stands approximately 1.22 meters high, when it unexpectedly tipped over. As a result, she was struck on the head by the crossbar.

Following the accident, emergency services transported her to the Innsbruck Clinic for medical evaluation and treatment. In accordance with standard procedure, the police have forwarded a report regarding the incident for further assessment by the Innsbruck Public Prosecutor's Office.
