Rhinoceros scare at Circus Krone

Munich. A rhinoceros caused alarm among the audience in Circus Krone on Saturday afternoon.

As an eyewitness reported to the news agency dpa, the animal trampled to the edge boundary that separates the ring from the audience. Many viewers jumped up in alarm. The trainer got the rhino "Tsavo" under control and could lead it out of the arena.

Circus Krone spokesperson stressed that the rhino had only stumbled over the boundary edge and had been startled, but then left the ring as planned. No one was injured and the show continued as normal.
