Munich. An unidentified person set an Italian car flag on fire in Sendling. He/she didn't touch the German flag alongside it.
Last week a 66 year old shop assistant parked her car in the street in front of her house in Sending. At the rear of the car she attached a German and Italian flag - her husband is Italian.
She discovered the next day, that the Italian flag had been set on fire and was damaged, as well as the side windows and the car's paintwork. The German flag had not been damaged.
Police estimate the damage to the car to be around 3000 Euro.
According to the police, the offender has still not been identified. But if you have a look at the world cup table you will see that the Italian team lost against Slovakia on the evening of the 24th and were knocked out.
