Fire in Eichenau

Eichenau. The fire brigade was able to stop a flat from burning down on wednesday evening.

It was shortly after midnight when the fire brigade arrived at Schulstrasse, where a building to store refuse as well as the roof of the underground garage were already in flames. The fire had also spread to the roof of the neighbouring building. Four squads of firefighters with breathing apparatus managed to get the fire under control. The smoke extraction of the underground garage and the subsequent damping-down kept the firemen on site till 2 am.
