Audi Sets Highway on Fire

Munich. An Audi A4 completely burned out on monday morning in the city district of Schwabing. The driver was able to save himself just in time.

Not much is left of the Audi A4 Avant: the fire in the interior of the car on monday morning resulted in a total write-off.

The driver was driving along the Isarring in the direction of Schenkendorfstraße when he noticed that smoke was coming out of the dashboard. He stopped the car on the layby on Dietlindenstraße in a bus bay and left the car. A few seconds later the car was in flames.

The fire brigade from Schwabing extinguished the fire with foam. The fire caused the fuel line to burst and leak all over the road and left a burning streak along the highway, nobody was hurt.
