Artwork Set on Fire

Munich. Criminals set a statue on fire in front of the Academy of Arts in Munich. Damage caused is estimated to be around 1000 Euro.

According to police, the arsonists set fire to the wooden statue at around 3.30 AM. The three metre tall statue was placed in the courtyard in front of the academy of arts, on pallets. A witness noticed the fire and called the fire brigade; the fire completely destroyed the artwork. The flames spread to three nearby bikes and the damage caused is estimated to be around 1000 Euro.
