Waidhofen/Ybbs: Sport Middle School's Gold Seal for Democracy Education Extended

The Sport Middle School (SMS) Waidhofen has received renewed recognition for its commitment to democracy education. The institution, which had previously earned the prestigious Gold Quality Seal as a 'Partner School of the Austrian Parliament', has had the validity of this award extended until 2028. This distinction was granted in recognition of the school's participation in various workshops offered by the Parliamentary Democracy Workshop, both in-person in Vienna and online.

Currently, only three schools in Austria hold the Gold Quality Seal, while an additional 30 institutions have received Silver and Bronze Quality Seals. This achievement underscores the school's dedication to fostering democratic values and civic engagement among its students.
