Authorities in Upper Austria responded to a significant disturbance late Friday evening after a house party, attended by approximately 300 individuals, escalated and required police intervention. Law enforcement officers arrived at the location following reports of excessive noise and unruly behavior. Upon arrival, police officials assessed the situation and determined that the gathering could no longer proceed safely or legally, prompting them to officially disband the event at around 10:00 p.m.

Following the announcement to end the party, the majority of attendees complied with police instructions and vacated the premises. However, a smaller contingent of 20 to 30 individuals refused to disperse and began to display increasingly confrontational behavior. According to police reports, this group directed chants against law enforcement officers and engaged in actions that posed a risk to public safety, including throwing objects and igniting pyrotechnics in the direction of the officers present on the scene.

Recognizing the potential for further escalation, additional police units were dispatched to the site to support the initial team. Law enforcement coordinated efforts to stabilize the situation and ensure the safety of both officers and civilians. The combined police presence was able to restore order after approximately ninety minutes, with the area gradually returning to a state of calm as the remaining individuals were dispersed.

In the aftermath of the incident, police conducted numerous identity checks among those who had remained at the scene. Several individuals were identified, and legal proceedings have been initiated where necessary. Authorities indicated that criminal complaints and administrative charges would be filed in connection with violations of public order and resistance to law enforcement.

Local officials emphasized the importance of adhering to regulations regarding private gatherings, particularly with respect to noise ordinances and the size of assemblies. The police reiterated that such large-scale gatherings, especially when unregistered, can pose significant risks to public safety and may lead to legal consequences for organizers and participants alike.

The event has sparked renewed discussions among community leaders and law enforcement regarding the management of unauthorized large-scale parties and the necessity for clear guidelines to prevent similar incidents in the future. Police have urged residents to report any gatherings that may exceed legal limits or disrupt public peace, underscoring their commitment to ensuring safety and order within the community.
