Uber Integrates Amazon's Autonomous Zoox Robotaxis into U.S. Ride-Hailing Platform

Uber has announced plans to introduce driverless robotaxis from Amazon's autonomous vehicle subsidiary, Zoox, to its ride-hailing platform in selected U.S. cities. The partnership is set to launch initially in Las Vegas, with future expansion planned for Los Angeles within the following year.

The Zoox vehicles are distinctive for their innovative design, featuring no steering wheel or pedals. Each vehicle accommodates four passengers, with seats arranged to allow riders to sit facing each other, optimizing both space and the social aspect of travel.
