Two Teenagers Identified in Alleged Assault Case in Munich

München - Authorities in Munich launched a search for two teenagers, aged 15 and 17, who are suspected of assaulting a 17-year-old girl in a parking garage. The incident reportedly occurred after the young woman met the suspects at the Stachus Fountain (Karlsplatz) in Munich, where they subsequently left together for a nearby underground parking facility.

According to police reports, the alleged assault took place in this location. The following day, the victim filed a report with the police, leading to a public appeal for information regarding the suspects.

On Monday evening, one of the suspects, a 17-year-old Afghan national, turned himself in at a police station in Freising, accompanied by his father. The details of his statement regarding the allegations remain undisclosed. After being questioned, he was released, although his mobile phone was confiscated as part of the ongoing investigation. Authorities have also confirmed that they possess the identity of the second suspect.
