In the women's and men's events, both SU Pfaffstätten teams demonstrated consistent strength and teamwork. Their efforts culminated in both silver and bronze medals, highlighting the depth and competitiveness of the club's athletes in the regional running scene.
Among the standout individual results, Richard Wagner excelled in the Masters 55 age group. Covering a distance of 4.1 kilometers, Wagner finished with an impressive time of 15 minutes and 47 seconds, earning him the state champion title in his category. His achievement underscores his continued dedication and competitive edge in veteran athletics.
In the men's under-50 division, athletes were challenged on an 8.88-kilometer course. Markus Wess, who recently joined SU Pfaffstätten, made an immediate impact by securing second place in the Masters 35 category, thus earning the title of vice state champion. This result reflects both his individual prowess and the supportive environment fostered by the club.
Team achievements were also notable in the men's competition. The trio of Stefan Winkelmayer, Matthias Bauer, and Franz Gschiegl contributed to the club's medal tally by capturing silver in their respective team classification.
