Deutscher Ring

Originated as a union insurer before being spun-off

Deutscher Ring was originally founded in 1925, but joined the Signal-Iduna Group in 2009 and merged with Signal Health Insurance a. G. in August 2017, which was renamed then as Signal Iduna health insurance a. G. Within this structure, the Deutscher Ring Health Insurance brand continues to exist .

What are the benefits of Deutscher Ring?

Deutscher Ring had an unfortunate history connected to anti-semitism and the NSDAP in the 1930s. After the war the company underwent many transformations eventually becoming a part of the Signal-Iduna Group. The name still exists under this group and is branded as a special concern. With over 2.5 million clients, they serve a large portion of the private health insurance market.
