The voting process included 100 ballots cast, factoring in three additional members who joined as part of the fire safety watch team. The results demonstrated significant support for the current command structure. Christian Pfeiffer, the incumbent commander, received 89 votes, while 11 members abstained. Norbert Schmidtberger, who serves as deputy commander, was supported by 74 members, with 26 abstentions.

This confirmation underscores the trust and confidence that the fire department's members place in their existing leadership. The process was conducted in accordance with the organization's established electoral procedures, ensuring transparency and fairness throughout.

The Wiener Neustadt Volunteer Fire Department is one of the most prominent emergency response organizations in the region, responsible for a wide range of duties including fire suppression, technical rescue, hazardous material handling, and disaster management. The department's command plays a central role in coordinating these operations, managing personnel, and ensuring the ongoing training and readiness of its members.

Christian Pfeiffer and Norbert Schmidtberger have both held their respective positions for several terms, overseeing a period marked by numerous operational challenges and community initiatives. Their continued leadership is expected to provide stability for the department as it addresses both routine emergencies and evolving safety needs within Wiener Neustadt and the surrounding areas.

In addition to emergency response, the fire department is heavily involved in community outreach, safety education, and collaboration with other local and regional services. The re-election of the command team signals an ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of service and preparedness.

The department's internal election is an integral part of its governance structure, allowing members to have direct input into the direction and priorities of their organization. With the leadership now reconfirmed, the Wiener Neustadt Volunteer Fire Department is set to continue its mission of safeguarding lives and property, upholding its longstanding tradition of volunteer service.
