North America's 50 Best Bars Unveils Inaugural List Ranking Bars 51 to 100

North America's 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, has officially revealed its first-ever list ranking bars from 51 to 100 for the year 2025. This extended list is the culmination of votes cast by a voting academy comprising over 300 independent cocktail experts, esteemed bartenders, educators, and beverage journalists from across the continent.

The 51-100 list showcases a diverse array of bars located in 23 different cities throughout North America. The United States leads with a total of 29 bars featured, representing cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Albuquerque, Boston, Houston, Miami, New Orleans, and Phoenix. Canada boasts 15 establishments on the list, hailing from Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and Victoria. Additionally, Mexico is represented by five bars from Mexico City, Oaxaca, and Playa del Carmen.

This inaugural list celebrates the vibrant and varied cocktail culture within the region, setting the stage for the announcement of the top 50 bars on April 29 in Vancouver, Canada. Emma Sleight, the Content Lead for North America's 50 Best Bars, emphasized the importance of this list, stating that it recognizes the dedication and hard work of numerous members of the hospitality and beverage community while shining a light on the remarkable evolution of drinking culture in the area.

Leading the 51-100 list is the Library Bar in Toronto, which ranks at No. 51. Other notable Canadian bars include Missy's from Calgary at No. 52 and Bar Bisou Bisou from Montreal at No. 75. A selection of U.S. bars featured in the list includes Nickel City from Austin at No. 70, Happy Accidents from Albuquerque at No. 88, Bar Leather Apron from Honolulu at No. 73, Bandista from Houston at No. 59, and Equal Measure from Boston at No. 81. Seattle is also represented with Roquette at No. 72, The Doctor's Office at No. 76, and Canon at No. 79.

Five Mexican bars have made the list, including Sabina Sabe at No. 54, Brujas at No. 65, Zapote Bar at No. 74, Ticuchi at No. 82, and Casa Prunes at No. 94.

The highly anticipated 1-50 list for North America's 50 Best Bars 2025, also sponsored by Perrier, will be unveiled during a live awards ceremony in Vancouver, in collaboration with Destination Vancouver, the host partner.
