Traffic Diversion Required as Mödling Main Road Closes for Repairs Until October

The city of Mödling has announced that a major thoroughfare will be closed until October due to extensive renovation work. The project aims to improve the road surface, sidewalks, and parking areas, which will include the installation of permeable paving stones to facilitate better drainage.

In addition to the roadworks, the existing rainwater and wastewater channels will be updated, including house connections. The local water supply network will also undergo essential maintenance.

Several utility companies, including Wiener Netze, A1 Telekom, Kabelplus, and EVN, will be conducting further works related to public lighting and other infrastructure improvements during this period.

Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes to avoid delays caused by the closure. Local authorities are putting measures in place to ensure traffic flows smoothly around the construction zone, and signage will be posted to guide drivers.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed about the progress of the repairs and any changes to traffic patterns. Updates will be provided through the city's official channels as the work progresses.
