Launch of Meischlgasse Urban Development: Affordable Housing for Thousands in Liesing

Registration for apartments in buildings BAG 4 and 5 is now open via Vienna's housing advisory platform, with a focus on climate-resilient urban development and affordable housing solutions tailored for single parents. The new district will also support recreational activities and promote community engagement through various facilities.

A significant aspect of the development is the introduction of a new municipal building featuring 203 affordable apartments, designed with flexibility to cater to diverse family needs. This initiative will include shared spaces that encourage neighborhood interaction and will prioritize sustainability through low-energy construction methods and eco-friendly heating systems.

The project aims to establish a supportive community environment from the outset, with dedicated support services to foster neighborly relationships even before residents move in.
