The center, who has missed three consecutive games, was unable to participate as the Raptors triumphed 117-104 over the Memphis Grizzlies. This win marked Toronto's first home success of the current NBA season, bringing the team's overall record to three wins and four losses.

In Pöltl's absence, the Raptors relied on strong performances from RJ Barrett and Brandon Ingram, who were instrumental in securing the win. Barrett contributed 27 points while Ingram added 26 points, solidifying their roles as the team's top scorers for the night.

The Raptors are preparing for their upcoming matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. The previous encounter between these two teams, which took place approximately one and a half weeks ago, resulted in a narrow 116-122 defeat for Toronto. Elsewhere in the NBA, the Oklahoma City Thunder extended their unbeaten streak by winning their seventh consecutive game of the season. The team demonstrated dominance in a 137-106 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, who are still seeking their first win of the campaign. With this result, Oklahoma City remains the league's only undefeated team following Sunday's games.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls experienced their first defeat of the season after a run of five consecutive victories. The Bulls fell to the New York Knicks with a score of 116-128. Similarly, the San Antonio Spurs recorded their first loss after being defeated 118-130 by the Phoenix Suns.
