The enhanced product line encompasses nine categories: bread & pastries, cereals, ready-made meals, flours & baking mixes, pasta & pantry products, sweets, baby food, and sauces. Gurkerl aims to provide customers with gluten intolerance or specific dietary preferences with a more comprehensive selection, reducing the need to visit multiple specialty stores.

Among the standout offerings are fresh baked goods from Isabella Pâtisserie, a family-owned business based in Düsseldorf, alongside artisanal products from the Low-Carb Schöntaler Bakery, Panifactum. The range of gluten-free flours and baking mixes has seen a substantial increase, now featuring over 60 products from reputable brands such as Alnavit and M&S's 'Made Without' line. Additionally, the selection now includes 58 different gluten-free pasta varieties from dedicated manufacturers like Batasta and Recheis.

Gluten-free and other 'free from' products often occupy a niche market within the grocery sector, typically offering limited choices while shelves overflow with standard goods. This reality affects thousands of individuals who require specific dietary options for health or personal reasons.
