Tragic Bus Accident in France Claims Four Lives

A tragic incident occurred in France involving a bus carrying numerous Ukrainian passengers, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. According to reports from the local prefecture based in Le Mans, located in the northwest of France, eleven other passengers sustained serious injuries, while thirty-four people experienced minor injuries.

The passengers included both young people and adults from Ukraine, although no further details about their identities or circumstances have been released at this time. Authorities have not yet provided specific information regarding the events that transpired on the A81 highway between Rennes and Le Mans.

Initial reports from France Info indicate that the bus may have veered off and fallen into a roadside ditch. Meanwhile, the newspaper 'Le Parisien' reported that the vehicle overturned during the incident. In response to the situation, a meeting was convened at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss the unfolding events.
