Gipsy Kings: "Music Is a Natural Way of Life"

On June 12, a press conference will be held to discuss the findings of three significant studies conducted by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility, and Infrastructure. These studies aim to address gaps in data regarding Austria's infrastructure development, as the country strives to achieve its ambitious goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2040.
As Austria moves forward with various initiatives for energy and mobility transition, there has been a notable lack of evidence to support decision-making processes. The recent studies, including the Austrian Building Report, provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of the building stock in Austria. This report details trends in new residential construction and assesses the quality of both existing and newly built structures, while also analyzing energy and heating systems in use.
In conjunction with market surveys on innovative energy technologies and an assessment of Austrian energy research, these studies present a robust, data-driven picture of the energy and construction transition in Austria. This wealth of information is expected to serve as a solid foundation for future political decisions.
During the press conference, Innovations and Infrastructure Minister Peter Hanke will be joined by Karin Tausz, Managing Director of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), and Gerald Beck, Managing Director of the Federal Real Estate Company, to unveil the key findings from these assessments and discuss implications for the current building landscape.
Media representatives are warmly invited to attend this important event. Registration is required and can be completed by contacting kleo.kraft@bmimi.gv.at.
