Bavaria, is the safest place people to live in Germany, but recent violent attacks in the underground and suburban trains by young people have shocked citizens.
The crimes culminated in the death of Dominik Brunner, on the 12th September 2009 in Solln. Bavarian Justice Minister Beate Merk (52) told in an interview to TZ about her plans to stop violence in public places. She requires that the penalty for murder should be increased up to 15 years in prison. It remains to be seen if this recommendation becomes reality.
