In the recent episode of the popular show 'Bares für Rares,' aired on October 2, 2025, viewers were treated to an array of remarkable items, ranging from exquisite jewelry to rare collectibles, but one piece stood out significantly. An early artwork by Wolfgang Niedecken captured the attention of both the audience and the experts during the broadcast.

The featured item, a triangular artwork titled 'Pythagoras - Thales - ?,' was presented by collectors Jennifer and Marc Fischer from Königswinter. This unique piece combines a painted canvas with a triangular wooden structure, adorned with point-like elevations and a bamboo handle. The artwork holds sentimental value for the sellers, as it has been in their family for years, originally gifted by Niedecken, who was personally acquainted with Marc's father.

Wolfgang Niedecken, widely known as the frontman of the iconic band 'BAP,' has also made a name for himself as a passionate artist. The artwork, dated 1975 and signed by Niedecken, reflects his early artistic endeavors when he was only 24 years old. This revelation may surprise many music fans, as Niedecken has a background in art studies.

Art expert Dr. Bianca Berding assessed the piece, noting its qualities that align with Arte Povera and Dadaism, both of which showcase Niedecken's trademark humor. Despite some minor chips, Berding valued the artwork between EUR2,500 and EUR3,000, a fair estimate considering its authenticity and appeal to both art and music enthusiasts.

During the auction segment, the artwork sparked lively discussions among the dealers, who initially debated its potential value. Ultimately, the piece was sold for EUR2,000 to art dealer David Suppes, marking an unexpected highlight for the Fischer family and providing viewers a glimpse into Niedecken's artistic side.

In addition to Niedecken's artwork, the episode featured other intriguing items, including:
