Welcome to Wankalm! Our Italian restaurant experienced a spectacular restart in 2004 after a foreign lease. Founder and mother Evi Gut cooks, daughter Franzi bakes the pizzas, and the daughters Marion and Vroni help out when needed! Our family is supported by competent and loyal staff. Enjoying our work is the foundation of our success – but that's not all! To create the perfect pizza, we, as a mother-daughter duo, completed a professional pizza baker training in Bolzano. Many regular guests, most of whom come from Oberammergau, know and feel this. Our pizzeria is located below the valley station of the Kolbensesselbahn, about a 15-minute walk from the town center, on a hill. From our winter garden, you have a wonderful view over Oberammergau. Surrounded by pure nature! Our rooms are lovingly decorated, and in the evening, we swim in a sea of lights!
