Originally, Waldknechtshof was the estate building of the Ochsengut, a dairy farm of the former Benedictine monastery in Klosterreichenbach. About two hundred years after the forest ranger managed the entire monastery forest from there, siblings Christine and Gernot Marquardt realized their wonderfully crazy idea: the conversion of the magnificent estate into an individually designed 4-star boutique hotel with 12 rooms, two unique event and conference rooms, and excellent regional-creative cuisine – to breathe new life into this historic estate.
