Welcome to the Marionettentheater Blaubeuren - The Marionettentheater Blaubeuren in the historic Talmühle offers a diverse cultural program for young and old. With 45 seats, expandable to 50 for children's performances, the cozy room theater creates an intimate atmosphere that allows the audience to participate closely in the events. Notably, the Jugendstil-Kaspertheater features over 35 lovingly staged stories about Kasper, Seppel, the grandmother, the policeman Grantelhuber, and many other characters. The pieces written by Barbara Rinker tell of exciting adventures, funny incidents, and animal stories that delight both children and adults. In addition to the humorous Kasper plays, the ensemble also brings classic fairy tales like 'Hansel and Gretel' based on the opera by Engelbert Humperdinck or 'Rumpelstiltskin' to the stage, often with much music and impressive stage sets. There are also special events such as musical readings, concerts - for example, Klezmer music with 'BOJO’s Papirossi' - and thematic evenings that round out the program. The theater regularly participates in special events such as the Blaubeurer Kulturnacht, where music, theater, and small magic scenes are offered for all age groups. Additionally, private performances can be booked for groups of 15 or more, even outside the current schedule. We are always happy to welcome new members to our theater association.
