The Soiernhaus (Upper Soiernhaus) is located at an altitude of 1616 m with a view of the Soiernkessel and the Benediktenwand. It offers accommodations only with prior reservation. Camping is prohibited in the entire Karwendel nature reserve. The hut is managed and classified by the Alpine Club. It features modern toilets and a washroom with cold water, a drying room, but no showers. The ascent from Krün takes about 3.5 hours and offers good food, friendly hosts, and a wonderful panorama.
