Welcome to Weinkeller Schäfergässle, a charming venue run by Rolf Wilk, a German wine advisor, and chef Axel Roser since 1991. The 400-year-old vaulted cellar with 80 seats offers a unique coziness. The decor and thoughtful accessories create an atmosphere appreciated by many guests. Rolf Wilk, a musical 68er, is available for performances solo with guitar, as a duo with piano, in a trio with three guitars, or with his seven-member oldie band. The rustic Swabian cuisine includes homemade Maultaschen, excellent Rostbraten with Spätzle or potato salad, and hearty Swabian snacks like 'Wurstsalat Schäfergässle'. A menu can be pre-ordered, ranging from rustic roasts to fine delicacies. Selected wines from local wineries and Kellerpils on tap are also available. Notably, there is no day off; we are open from 17:00 to 22:30 from Monday to Saturday and from 11:30 to 18:00 on Sundays.
