The Alpspitzbahn is one of the most popular cable cars in the Werdenfelser Land. It takes you in about nine minutes to the striking rock mass of the Alpspitze. With the Alpspitzbahn, you quickly leave the tree line behind and immerse yourself in the alpine landscape of the Osterfelderkopf. From the summit station, interesting tours start to Kreuzeck and Hausberg or down into the Höllental over the Hupfleitenjoch and the Knappenhäuser. For climbers, one of the most beautiful and popular via ferratas in Germany starts just a few meters from the Alpspitzbahn. The Alpspitz-Ferrata ascends over 600 meters of elevation to the summit of the Alpspitze, where one of the most beautiful summit views of the region awaits. At the Osterfeldkopf, you can also find entertainment on the summit experience trail or on the Alpspix, without taking risks in remote terrain. In winter, the Alpspitzbahn is primarily used for skiing in the Classic area. From the Osterfelderkopf, you can ski down the Hochalm, past the Bernadein and Längenfelder lifts, down to Kreuzeck and further to Hausberg.
