The Prinzregententheater is one of the major stages in Munich and serves as the venue for the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding and the Bavarian State Opera. The Akademietheater, located at the back of the Prinzregententheater, serves as a performance space for the directing, acting, and musical productions of the Bavarian Theater Academy. As an independent workshop theater, it provides space for productions that arise from collaboration among various study programs.
