The traditional cinema in Ottenau. Flair, nostalgia, atmosphere, coziness, service, and an extraordinary selection of films are the hallmarks of the Merkur Film Center in Gaggenau-Ottenau. The house was built in 1958 and is now run in the third generation. Out of love for the special, we show noteworthy films in the ARTHOUSE film series that have achieved national and international success. We aim to provide a fixed place for demanding cinema in Gaggenau and the Murgtal region. Current hits, well-known favorites, and true film hits also have their place on our screens, alongside carefully selected cinema specialties. Since 2007, we have been awarded annually by the MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg for this varied cinema program.
