For many years, the Kapellengemeinde Heidelberg, in cooperation with the Diakonisches Werk Heidelberg, has offered the project manna as a way to counter the pressures of society by simply setting them aside. In a society increasingly shaped by performance pressure, stigmatization, and elitism, which we are feeling more strongly in Heidelberg, we want to counteract this. manna is a café, a diverse course program, and much more. It is like a not-so-small family, a home without any conditions. Everyone who finds our offerings supportive is welcome. We are happy to share baked goods with helpers who shop for those in need.
