Thurnerspur is one of the most beautiful cross-country ski trails in Germany, located in the Hochschwarzwald between the towns of Breitnau and St. Märgen. With an elevation of 1,100 meters above sea level, the trail is quite snow-sure. It features a 15 km classic and a 15 km skating track, with options for shorter routes of 8, 10, and 12 km. For beginners or a shorter experience, the 5 km night trail is available, illuminated from Tuesday to Thursday from 18:00 to 21:00. Skiing through still untouched forests and moors, over scenic heights, and past snow-covered Black Forest farms offers a combination of sport, nature enjoyment, and active relaxation.
