Since 1902, the Landgasthof Weitzer has been owned by the Weitzer family, now in its fifth generation. Originally a tavern and customs station, the building was completely rebuilt in 1894. The establishment has a rich history, including its own butcher shop and hosting dance events. In 1994, Willibald and Andrea Weitzer took over and modernized the entire building, creating modern holiday apartments that attract anglers from across Europe. The beer garden, added in 2008, offers a colorful atmosphere and Bavarian charm. The restaurant serves both Bavarian and international specialties, with a focus on high-quality cuisine, including meats and sausages from their own slaughterhouse. The venue is known for its excellent reputation and has received numerous awards. The Kegelbahnen (bowling alleys) were renovated in 2017 and offer disco bowling under black light.
