About Hexenlochmühle

Hexenlochmühle is a historic mill built in 1825, located in a romantic valley between St. Märgen and Furtwangen. It is known for its Schwarzwälder specialties, including ham, farmer's sausage, honey, berry wines, and fine spirits. The venue features a cozy Schwarzwaldstube and a large outdoor terrace by the Heubach stream, offering a variety of cold and warm dishes, homemade cakes, and ice cream. The mill operates as a sawmill with functional water wheels powered by the Heubach stream. It has been in family ownership since 1839, now in its fourth generation.
