Gohliser Schlösschen - The unique jewel in the heart of LeipzigNot far from Leipzig's city centre is the beautiful Gohliser Schlösschen, also affectionately known as Musenhof am Rosental. Built in 1756 by the then council architect Johann Caspar Richter, it is one of the jewels of Saxon cultural history and one of the sights of the city of Leipzig with its unique and excellently preserved building substance in late Baroque style.The well-tended palace garden with its fountain and statues is the only surviving garden of Leipzig's once famous garden culture of the bourgeois Baroque.
