The glow-head engine factory of the Deutsche Kromhout Motoren-Fabrik Aktiengesellschaft, built in 1912, has a floor area of 2,000 m², or around 4,000 m² on the two existing levels, and is still in a very original condition in the pretty little seaport town of Brake (Unterweser). Until 1934, glow-head motors for ships and locomotives were manufactured here. After the world economic crisis and insolvency, the building was used as a sack factory by the Bremen port handling company Karl Gross.Use this unique location for your creative idea and be inspired by the different spaces and the possibilities they offer. It is an excellent location for undisturbed photo & advertising shoots or film shoots lasting several days. A heated space is available for make-up, wardrobe and team stay. Our own parking spaces are also suitable for trucks. Props such as vintage cars and old furniture from the 50s and 60s are available and can be rented for this purpose.
