Gasthof Hotel Anker is located in Sommerhausen, near Eibelstadt and Ochsenfurt, directly by the Main River. Built in 1740, it is one of the oldest establishments in the area. Historically, it was a popular stop for raftsmen, sailors, and 'treidlers' who would change horses here. Known as an artists' meeting place in the 1950s, the 'Anker' is now a hub of Franconian coziness by the riverside.
