The figurentheater tübingen has been developing a unique style of theater since 1991, centered around visual arts, music, literature, film, and dance, with the theater figure at its core. It offers visual theater for adults that is universally understandable. Invitations to theater festivals have taken the group, led by puppeteer and director Frank Soehnle, to over 50 countries. Since 2016, the rehearsal stage in Tübingen has opened for specially developed productions and public rehearsals. International collaborations, directing works for other theaters, and teaching assignments at various universities complement their own theater work.
