The FfE presents its new public book exchange cabinet! During the company outing on September 17, 2020, the FfE colleagues stayed on site due to COVID-19 and used the day to make the FfE a bit more sustainable in various projects. One of these projects was the establishment of a public book exchange cabinet, which aims to give old books a new home. The exchange cabinet, which has been converted from an old telephone booth, is located on the FfE grounds at Am Blütenanger 71, 80995 Munich and is publicly accessible. The idea is to leave another book behind when taking a book, if possible. Books left should be of interest to a broad audience (no specialized literature, etc.) and in a usable condition. If books do not find a new owner even after a long time, they will be disposed of by us. Our book exchange cabinet has its own entry on OpenStreetMap, and further entries in public registers will follow. We look forward to its active use and wish all bookworms much joy with it!
