Welcome to dr' schonzewiert [Der Schanzenwirt]! Since January 15, 2020, we have been operating our restaurant at the Heini-Klopfer Ski Flying Hill, aiming to combine tradition with a contemporary offering. Our focus is always on our guests, the people around us, and our selected products. Over the first three years, friends Manuel Rieger and Patrick Herling, along with their team, have developed the Schanzenwirt into a renowned excursion and event restaurant. After gaining extensive experience in the hospitality, gastronomy, and supply industries, we decided to breathe new life into the former 'Flugschanzenstube' and share our passion in our homeland. Since 2023, Manuel Rieger, a trained chef and state-certified hotel management expert, has been leading the Schanzenwirt. Together with our warm host team, we run 'schonzewiert' with heart and mind, creating a popular destination in the Oberstdorfer Stillachtal for locals and guests alike.
