Der Brotmacher is a family bakery established in 1914, known for its commitment to quality and tradition. Our bread doughs are prepared with care and dedication, allowing them to rise slowly to fully develop their flavor. We completely avoid chemical additives to preserve the purity and naturalness of our baked goods. Each dough is lovingly kneaded by hand, ensuring that every roll and cake receives a personal touch and the highest quality. All breads and baked goods are made from selected regional ingredients, and we can tell you exactly where each grain has grown. We use mineral-rich flours and revitalized water to create natural doughs that are given plenty of time to rise. Additionally, we only use 800-year-old, unrefined Portuguese spring salt. The result is healthy and digestible breads in juicy loaves with a hearty, crispy crust.
