Café am Kreuzgang offers a delightful atmosphere with a view of the Romanesque cloister. In addition to a rich beverage menu, we provide continuous small dishes, breakfast, and various ice cream sundaes made in-house. We serve a daily changing lunch dish from Tuesday to Friday. Enjoy relaxation in our garden amidst the Romanesque cloister, savoring the moment in a historic setting. The cloister is a remnant of a Benedictine monastery, mentioned in documents as early as 818 and 824. The current café is a reconstruction from the 20th century, with a history that includes serving as a bakery and a sugar bakery since 1959.
