About Beim Binner

The name 'Binner' comes from the cooperage that Robert Sperber's father and grandfather used to operate. The house name is derived from the term 'barrel binding'. The old barrel tools can still be admired in the tavern today. The tavern is dedicated to St. Emmeram, the patron saint of the nearby Catholic church. Binner has been serving beer continuously, even during wartime, with a unique Zoigl star that differs from others in the area. The tavern features multiple rooms, including two guest rooms with tiled stoves and cozy side rooms. In summer, guests can enjoy the covered beer garden in the courtyard. Robert Sperber not only brews his own beer but also distills his own schnapps, known as 'Binner-Geist'. Visitors can tour the distillery during Zoigl hours or enjoy various fruit and herbal brandies from their own production.
