DJK Gaststätte is a sports restaurant located in the municipal sports center Schottenau, directly connected to the DJK sports hall and in close proximity to the Schottenau school center. The venue is well situated next to a residential area, with the Eichstätt campsite, bike path, and boat dock reachable within a few minutes on foot. The industrial area with many businesses and the police readiness is also accessible in a few minutes. The restaurant was opened in 2019 after a new construction by the city of Eichstätt, and shortly thereafter, the beer garden was newly laid out and paved. Recently, the 4-lane bowling alley in the basement has been renovated and is available as a possible dining area.
