Originally, the Bauhof was a farm belonging to the lordship, managed by farmers and servants. The medieval Bauhof was located in the same place, west of the pond, and was the core of the first settlement in the valley below the castle. Since 1673, the Bauhof has been owned by the same family, who have been engaged in agriculture, brewing, and hospitality for generations. The estate has undergone various changes over the centuries, but its historical substance has largely been preserved, and today it is a protected monument. The Bauhof offers cozy, rustic dining rooms in a rural idyll, with seasonal dishes prepared fresh daily using regional products. We are open to suggestions and feedback to ensure smooth service.
