At least nine individuals have lost their lives in a suspected Iranian missile attack targeting the headquarters of the Iranian-Kurdish opposition group Komala, located near Sulaimaniyah in the autonomous Kurdish region of northern Iraq. According to sources within Komala, six ballistic missiles struck the facility, resulting in fatalities and triggering several fires in the vicinity. Authorities in the region have also reported that eight drones were intercepted over Erbil, the regional capital, with no casualties or injuries reported from that incident.

The Iranian government has not issued an official statement confirming the missile strike in Iraq. The regional anti-terror agency in Iraqi Kurdistan stated that measures were taken to neutralize aerial threats over Erbil, and no injuries occurred as a result.

The incident comes amid a series of military escalations across the Middle East. Iranian state media reported that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps carried out an attack on the former US military base at Al-Tanf in southeastern Syria. The strike, described as a 'surprise operation' by Iranian sources, allegedly targeted an enemy command center in retaliation for the recent deaths of Iranian soldiers in Iranshahr, southeastern Iran. The Syrian military, however, has denied any attack on the site. The United States previously announced its withdrawal from the Al-Tanf base, transferring control to Syrian government forces earlier in the year.

Additionally, Iran claims to have launched attacks on two US radar installations in Oman, citing these as responses to prior US airstrikes against targets in Iran. The radar facilities targeted were reportedly involved in maritime and aerial surveillance near Salamah and Ghanam, respectively. Meanwhile, the Jordanian military announced that its air defense systems intercepted three Iranian missiles that entered Jordanian airspace, reporting no damage or casualties. Jordan has been subjected to multiple cross-border incidents involving Iranian projectiles in recent days.

Following renewed US strikes on Iranian positions, Iran extended its operations to US military installations in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar. Kuwaiti officials confirmed that an Iranian airstrike damaged a power and desalination plant, causing a fire and disrupting electricity supplies. Emergency crews managed to bring the fire under control, but significant damage was reported, including the shutdown of several power generation units.

The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's air force stated that Iran intends to continue its operations across the region until hostilities against the southern provinces of Iran cease. According to statements distributed by Iranian news agencies, further attacks may be launched from within Iran if stability is not restored along the nation's southern coast.
