Visitor Terrace at Vienna International Airport Reopens April 5

Tue 1st Apr, 2025

The popular visitor terrace at Vienna International Airport, located atop Terminal 3, will officially reopen for the 2025 season on April 5. This inviting outdoor space, measuring 306 meters in length and covering approximately 1,800 square meters at a height of 21 meters, has been a favorite destination for aviation enthusiasts and visitors since its inauguration in 2012.

After a seasonal closure during the winter months, the terrace will welcome guests back with special open-house hours from 10 AM to 6 PM on its first day. Entrance during this event will be complimentary, allowing everyone an opportunity to enjoy the stunning views of the airport's runway and aircraft operations.

Following the opening day, standard admission prices will apply, with adults charged 6 euros. Children and teenagers aged between 1 and 16 years will benefit from a reduced rate of 3 euros. Additionally, a new family ticket option has been introduced, priced at 15 euros for two adults and two children or teenagers. For those who wish to visit for a shorter duration, a two-hour ticket will also be available for 4 euros or 2 euros for children.

The terrace is designed not only as a viewing platform but also as a space for families and individuals to enjoy the bustling atmosphere of one of Europe's busiest airports. Visitors can expect to see a variety of aircraft take off and land, making it an excellent spot for photography and relaxation.

With its unique vantage point and family-friendly pricing, the visitor terrace continues to be a cherished part of the airport experience, inviting locals and tourists alike to witness the dynamic world of aviation in action.
