Rain Ceases - Flood Alert Lifted Along the Perschling River

Recent heavy rainfall in the Tulln district resulted in significant precipitation exceeding 40 liters per square meter, causing the river levels to rise considerably. The Perschling River reached a height of 3.30 meters, surpassing the flood threshold.

In response to this situation, the local district authority activated a flood alert. Emergency services promptly occupied the district alarm coordination center to monitor the situation closely. All fire departments along the Perschling in the Tulln district were notified, and personnel were deployed to assess critical areas prone to flooding.

Fortunately, the rain subsided late in the morning, allowing authorities to declare that the immediate flood threat had passed. Residents and local officials expressed relief as the alert was lifted, leading to a return to normalcy in the affected areas.
