The town of Neunkirchen celebrated the grand reopening of its only vinyl record store, 'Exil', which has now relocated to a more central location. Previously situated on Wiener Straße 19 for the past six years, the store has moved to the passage 'Am Pläzel' at Wiener Straße 4, bringing it closer to the main square and enhancing its accessibility for vinyl enthusiasts.

Owned by passionate vinyl collectors Andreas Buchegger and Reinhold Rath, affectionately known as 'Jacky', 'Exil' aims to be more than just a retail space. The new location is designed to foster a vibrant community atmosphere for music lovers, providing a gathering place where individuals can share their passion for records.

The reopening event drew a diverse crowd, reflecting the growing interest in vinyl records, which have seen a resurgence in popularity in recent years. Collectors, musicians, and casual listeners alike came together to explore the extensive selection of records available, ranging from classic albums to contemporary releases.

'Exil' is committed to offering not only a wide variety of music genres but also hosting events that celebrate local artists and promote the vinyl culture. The store plans to organize listening parties, meet-and-greet sessions with musicians, and workshops aimed at educating newcomers about vinyl collecting and care.

The owners expressed their excitement about the new location and the opportunities it presents for engaging with the community. They believe that the central position will attract more visitors and help create a lively hub for music aficionados. The shift from the old location to the new is seen as a strategic move to enhance customer experience and expand their reach.

The grand reopening of 'Exil' not only marks a new chapter for the store but also signifies Neunkirchen's growing cultural landscape, where local businesses play a crucial role in shaping the community's identity. As vinyl records continue to captivate listeners, 'Exil' stands poised to become a key player in the local music scene.
