On Saturday, the Neulengbach Volunteer Fire Brigade was called into action for a total of four emergency situations, demonstrating their readiness and commitment to community safety.

The first alarm was received at 10:45 AM, reporting a traffic accident on the A21 highway. Firefighters were dispatched to recover a vehicle and contain any leaking fluids. Just twenty minutes later, at 11:05 AM, a second call came in regarding another vehicle recovery within the town limits of Neulengbach. At the intersection of Industriestraße and L2019, two cars had collided for unknown reasons, rendering both vehicles inoperable. A local auto club assisted in the recovery of one vehicle, while firefighters utilized their heavy rescue vehicle to tow the smaller car after clearing the road of debris.

Later in the day, at 12:50 PM, the commander of the hazardous materials unit received a request for assistance with a multi-gas measuring device for an incident in Markersdorf. The fire brigade promptly sent a rescue vehicle, manned by personnel who were still at the station from previous calls. Upon arrival, the crew monitored a workshop that had been ventilated prior to their arrival, and fortunately, no hazardous levels were detected.

The final alarm of the day came in at 4:42 PM, indicating a traffic accident on the A1 highway, specifically at kilometer marker 44.5, with initial details indicating potential injuries. Firefighters, along with units from the Kirchstetten fire department, were dispatched to the scene. Fortunately, it was determined that no individuals were trapped within the vehicle, and the Neulengbach team proceeded to recover the damaged car after consulting with highway police.

Throughout the day, the Neulengbach Fire Brigade showcased their professional skills and teamwork, effectively managing multiple incidents while ensuring the safety of the community.
